Learning Intention: Students will be practicing their still life drawing skills through the use of contour line drawing. Then they will take those drawings to create a high contrast black and white graphic reproduction of their drawing.

Success Criteria: Students are successful when:

• They have used a fine point sharpie to create a contour line drawing that mostly fills the paper
• Students have reproduced their drawing onto a second piece of paper
• Students have used ink to create large black and white areas on their piece
• Students use a high degree of craftsmanship with their brushwork and precision
