Rinpa Style Painting
Due: 3/14 B Day or 3/15 A Day
Learning Intention:
We will be creating a painting based on the Rinpa movement. You will explore the differences in technique and subjects between the Rinpa techniques and theory and the previous painting techniques/theory we’ve studied (Baroque and Impressionism)

Success Criteria:
  • Gold background
  • Brushwork is similar to the style of the inspiration piece
  • Areas of translucency if present in inspiration painting
  • Crisp, clean edges to elements of the painting
  • Painting is clean and shows good craftsmanship.
  • I show commitment to good/clean craftsmanship. 
  • I demonstrate motivation and independence.
