Smooth Coil Pot

Picture
Students will build on the skills they learn when they were making the Pencil Thin Coil pot to create a Smooth Coil Pot. Students will also fire and glaze this pot.

Success Criteria
We know we are successful when:
  • Pot is 8 inches tall
  • It curves in and out
  • Has an applique (which is an element built onto the pot)
  • pot is inscribed (something drawn onto the pot itself using clay tools)
  • Demonstrate self-motivation
  • Commitment to good/clean craftsmanship
